Alkaline Trio announce some California shows, writing new material

According to the Alkaline Trio's Facebook page, the band will spend the leap day and the first four days of March playing shows in California, The details of those can be seen below. The update also says the band plans on writing and recording new material so these will be the last dates in the USA for awhile.
Feb 29 - Santa Cruz, CA - Catalyst
Mar 1 - San Fran, CA - The Regency Ballroom
Mar 2 - San Luis Obispo - Downtown Brew
Mar 3 - San Diego, CA - HOB
Mar 4 - Costa Mesa, CA - MUSINK Fest with Against Me!
