Killing Joke talk band member deaths, new album, ABBA
Jan. 20, 2010
The Quietus recently posted a long chat with Killing Joke members Jaz Coleman and Martin "Youth" Glover that took place on Christmas Eve. The writer got a sneak peak of rough versions of quite a few new Joke tunes and gives extremely enticing descriptions before getting down to business with the two members. They discuss former bassist Paul Raven's death and how that was a catalyst for the original lineup reuniting, the Joke as "celebration" music, ABBA as an inspiration for new material, disdain for Bob Dylan and more.
