Paste Magazine rises from the grave because of reader donations

This story gives me a warm fuzzy feeling all over. USA Today reports that music magazine Paste will continue its operations after receiving a staggering $250,000 in donations from its readers. The magazine's ad revenue was falling and started a campaign last month soliciting donations. Production will go on as scheduled Say what you will about the bands covered in Paste, this is a really fucking cool story that proves that print isn't quite dead yet.

This rules! I bet if Punk Planet tried something along these lines they could've stayed running for another issue or two. Damn I miss that zine.
