Hatchet re-groups with new lineup and will enter the studio soon

Bay Area thrashers Hatchet have sent out a communique regarding thier status. Earlier in the year they lost their bassist and vocalist but after a couple months off have re-grouped with new members Ryan King on bass (who moved from the East Coast to join the thrash attack) and Eric Lundgren on vocals. Their first order of business with the new lineup will be entering the studio later this month to record two new songs, then announce a US tour. Their '08 Metal Blade album Awaiting Evil literally sounds like it was made by the dudes from Heavy Metal Parking Lot, and I mean that as an endorsement so the new stuff should be cool.
